This course introduces the basic understanding of Wavelength Division Multiplexing technologies. This course starts with an overview of the optical fiber communication and then the DWDM techniques to send multiple wavelengths. It describes the various elements used in DWDM system and optical transmission networks.


Course Pre-requisites

The candidate attending this course should have basic knowledge of transmission concepts & technologies such as PDH/SDH and optical fiber communication. He should have relevant experience on installation, commissioning of SDH optical multiplexers.
