The four-hour PMP® Certification Exam comprises of 200 multiple choice questions, randomly picked from five process groups as per PMI framework (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling and Closing). As per PMI, 25 questions do not add to your score.

Upon completion of the computer-based Project Management Certification exam, you will receive a printed copy of your test results.

In addition to the overall pass/fail status, important diagnostic information on your performance is provided for each domain. This information provides specific guidance for both passing and failing candidates.

The test results are reported in two ways :

  • A pass/fail score is generated based on your overall performance on the examination
  • The second level of results is the assignment of one of three proficiency levels to each chapter :
    • Each topic domain is assigned one of the four levels of proficiency (based on the number of questions answered correctly within the domain):–
      1. Above Target
      2. Target
      3. Below Target
      4. Needs Improvement
    • This provides direction about your strengths and weaknesses.

Cognitel’s test package will give you access to SIX online PMP mock (simulated) exams. Each exam will have 200 questions, to be attempted in 4 hours. Participants will have the option to navigate through the questions and change answers, before final submission. The timer will not stop, in case of power failure, internet disconnectivity, etc. In the case of 4 hours completion, before submission, the answers will get submitted and you shall receive your scores in percentage.

The scores will help you to self-evaluate yourself. The quiz review option will allow you to review your answers and find the reason for the correct answer against your incorrect choice.
