Aminata Ndiaye has fifteen years of experience in Senegal and internationally in the fields of marketing, communication, mobile banking, digital transformation and management in the telecommunications sector.

Her career began with the consulting firm Accenture in an appointment at EDF in Paris in the field of change management. 

She then joined the Orange Group in Paris in 2004 as part of the project to merge the Ouest Francilien and La Défense corporate branches. 

In 2006, she joined Sonatel in Dakar, Senegal, to take charge of marketing and communication for fixed-line and Internet products. She continued to evolve her role at Sonatel over the years by extending her responsibilities to mobile.

In 2013, she was appointed to head the Consumer Marketing Department, joining the company’s management committee, and steered this market segment, which represented a large share of Sonatel’s revenues (60%) at the time. In this capacity, she was in charge of the strategy for the fixed, mobile, Internet and TV worlds as well as the commercial and brand communication strategy. She also performed governance functions through her directorships in various Sonatel group subsidiaries.

In 2015, she successfully worked successfully on the relaunch of the Orange Money business in Senegal by welcoming the brand new Orange Money Division Management into her teams.

In 2017, in addition to this scope, she was entrusted with the mission of setting up a new organization to address Sonatel’s digital transformation.

In September 2018, she was appointed head of the Customer Experience Department for the Orange Middle East and Africa regional division, joining the Paris-based entity.

As of 1st December 2019, she has taken over as head of the new Marketing, Digital & Customer Experience department of Orange Middle East and Africa.

Born in Dakar, Aminata Ndiaye is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique de Paris and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Paris.

She is married and a mother of four children.
